Automatic Backup On Remote Server

Officer can take Schedule the backup in remote server by selecting mode as “Automatic” and Backup location as “Remote server”.
Officer can take Schedule the backup in local server by selecting mode as “Automatic” and Backup location as “Local server”.
In the dashboard page, Click on Back up tab displays below page.
By default “Manual” will be selected. Select “Automatic” as shown in above
Select Data to Backup. Refer Note below.
Note: If operator selects Application related backup than he should be able to create backup of emCA properties (config name, serial no of certificate, DB name), configuration (path, user name, db related data), logger property (log files, format, size), token config If operator selects certificate manager Database (complete sql db.) should be backed up. |
Select When to backup from dropdown (hourly/Daily/weekly/Monthly)
By default backup location will be local server. Select Remote location.
Enter IP address, path (only folder name), Username, Password of the system where you want to create backup.
Note: System should not be shut down during backup process.
Click on “Test connection”, if all the credentials entered are valid, connection will be successful.
Operator should sign and authenticate with token plugged in to the system, select user name and enter valid token Pin.
Backup will be stored in path specified in Zip format. Extract the zip file to check the backup files.
