# Backup

This interface provides a means for a CA Administrator to perform a secure backup operation using two different modes i.e. Manual (local server/ system) and Automatic ((local server/remote system).

CA Administrator will be able to create a backup of emCA application (Application Data/ Certificate manager database) in a local server or remote system.
