# Manage OCSP Certificate

The Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) is an internet protocol that is used to check the revocation status of an X.509 digital certificate. This protocol is documented in RFC 6960 and is currently following the internet standards track. Only authorized administrators have the permission to configure OCSP profiles. It is also possible to create OCSP certificates that are specifically linked to particular CA's.
